Our first winter with a lakeside sauna

Last autumn we installed a Rantala 8 on the shore of a small lake north of Tampere. In January the temperature dropped to −27 °C, and the sauna was the first thing the owners lit every Saturday.

What we learned

The thermo-treated porch floor stayed dry and safe, and the double-glazed window did not fog even after a long session. We will use the same glazing on all lakeside models from now on.
